Architecture Project

Architecture Project is a network of architectural practices with offices in London, Malta and Croatia. I re-designed their new website using a clean, simple grid style. There are nice transitions of the content grid blocks as you navigate on the live site. See the below link to view. View the website

Savvy

Savvy is a community website that enables technology professionals to showcase their skills and find work. My co-founder Farez and I launched this start up 2 years ago. I look after the UX design and front-end development and Farez takes care of all things back end. We currently have over 250 developer and company profiles and have big ambitions to span Savvy across several technology disciplines such as PHP, Ruby, WordPress, IOS & Android developers, though we are focusing on the Drupal ecosystem to start with to get the finer details right and expand from there. If you have interest in this growing community or would like to be involved, please get in touch. View the website

The London Film School

A London institution, The London Film School has had some serious heavy weights in the film industry through its doors (such as Michael Mann, Mike Leigh, and Duncan Jones to name a few). It was an honour to be invited to redesign their website. Working very closely with the client through the process with a very limited timeframe and budget, it was important to communicate and collaborate on the designs much sooner and more frequently than is usual in my experience. This was made easier than anticipated by the fact that the two contacts I worked with at the school were so accommodating and were really ready to tackle the challenges we faced as a team. I thoroughly enjoyed this project. View the website

Jeem TV

Jeem TV is Al Jazeera’s Children’s channel, aimed at 7-12 year olds. I joined the existing design team working on the newly launched website. Working in an agile environment, we progressed through the planned Roadmap functionality requests. Some specific pieces I looked at were the addition of a new section “Activities” which offers things to make and create as well as recipes for cooking. I designed the Campaign treatment that groups together a collection of content around a theme. I also designed the UX of the registration process. The website’s default language is Arabic with English translation as an option so we needed to consider the text right-to-left and vice versa as well as a complete flip of the content flow. The designs were mocked up across mobile and tablet too. View the website
